Dear trail running friends,
The 2nd edition of our Winter Trail was successfully held on November 26. Many athletes enjoyed the ascent to the Wasserfalleralm together on the perfectly groomed slope. Some ambitious amateur athletes were able to compete with each other and also professional athletes , usually competing on international top level took part in our Run For Fun race.
Martina Cumerlato (3rd place Skyrunning World Championship 2022) won the women’s race in front of Tanja Plaikner and Viktoria Mair. Alex Oberbacher (ITA National Ski Mountaineering Team) won the men’s race just ahead of Armin Larch from Mareit and Martin Stofner.
Afterwards all participants had some food in the Wasserfalleralm and there was a “Zielbier” for everyone in the Ratschinger Stube.
We would like to thank the huts for the catering, the lift company for the preparation of the slope, all volunteers and all other partners & sponsors.
